The Cherokee Native Art and Plants Society is pleased to offer membership to the community members and National Treasures that we have worked with and seen the work of for many years, some of these have taught us, and some we teach: we are glad to call each one close friends and thankful that they are helping us to strengthen the world around us. Associate Membership is offered on an invitational basis from CNAPS to those that we believe can positively empower our communities and those that we have watched produce for many years.
Our members have lived their lives in our Cherokee Communities and believe on giving back to our community. They enjoy living surrounded by their loved ones and their culture and seek to expand the circle of knowledge to those truly wishing to learn and have shared over their years with us. Wado.
The Cherokee Native Art and Plant Society is proud to work with each of these Elders, Tradition Keepers, and Artists and value the respect that they have entrusted us with, therefore in everything we do we keep their input and wishes very close to our hearts.
